This quilt makes me feel warm and cozy. A medley of warm pinks, purples and reds, this beautiful work of art is a necessary reminder of the sun in winter.
Cut from a mix 100% natural fabrics including Japanese cotton, cotton linen blend, and European linen. The filling is 100% cotton with no artificial binders or fillers. The backing is hand dyed fabric that matches the binding (see image). The quilt was made from start to finish in my Los Angeles, CA studio. I cut and assemble all the pieces, machine quilt the quilt sandwich together, and finish the edges with a durable double fold bias binding. Finally the quilt is washed for extra softness. This size is perfect for use as a baby blanket, to provide cushion for tummy time, or as a comfort object (the texture is just that satisfying to the touch!). Meant to grow with your child (or you!), this piece is ready to hang on the wall as baby's first piece of textile art. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low or line dry.
