Can you rush my order?

We can try!  If you need something sent out ASAP, send us an email with your request.  Most likely we can ship it out that same day or the next, but once it’s at the post office we have no control over the shipping speed.

 

Do you have any additional information about the status of my package?

Typically we don't! Once we drop your package off at the post office, we can only access the same information you get through your tracking number.

The only exception to this may be if the tracking number shows that the carrier is still awaiting the item. Usually this means the package has been dropped off at the post office, but is still waiting to be scanned. Sometimes it means we were able to pack up your order, but were not able to drop it off at the post office that day. Rarely does it mean your package is lost. Please keep in mind that holidays, weekends, and other factors may affect the shipment status.

 

Why hasn’t my tracking number updated?

If the package was shipped within the last two days, the number likely has not been registered yet, but will be soon!

If it has been over a week since the number was last updated, the package is probably just delayed and not lost.  If you are not in a hurry to receive your item, we and the postal service appreciate your patience in waiting two weeks from the dispatch date to request a replacement.

If it has been over two weeks since the status was last updated and you are located in the US, please contact us!

The tracking number shows my package is delivered, but I can’t find it!

Unfortunately, we have no control over your package once it leaves our studio and are not responsible for missing packages.  However, there are a few things you can do to try and locate it:

Double check the address you entered. It's possible that the package was shipped to the wrong address.

Check with your neighbors. If you live in an apartment or housing complex, it's not uncommon that packages get misdelivered!

Wait a couple of days. Sometimes packages get marked as delivered accidentally and will be delivered within the next couple of days.

For international shipments: Your package may be held at the post office if there are fees owed.

 

My package arrived and some items are missing/damaged.

Please send us an email with a picture of the damaged parcel and merchandise. Most of the time we are able to send out a replacement.

 

What is the best way to wash my garments?

Each item is individually labeled with the recommended cleaning method.  If your item is missing a label or you have any additional questions about cleaning, don’t hesitate to send us an email!  Any wear or damage to an item as a result of non-recommended care is not our responsibility.

 

Are you going to restock a particular item?

We are constantly working on restocking our Dust Dye items and always announce it in advance on our instagram and through our newsletter!

Most of our knits will not get restocked, however a few of our more popular styles may make a return!

Our garments made of deadstock fabrics most likely cannot be restocked in the same prints as we are unable to get more of the fabric.  We may be able to produce something similar, though, if it is highly requested!

 

How come the Dust Dye I just received doesn’t match one I bought a while ago in the same color?

We work really hard to try and maintain consistency between batches of our hand-dyed items, but there are many factors that affect the final outcome:

- The dye itself sometimes varies in formulation between batches.

- Any slight difference in the garment's fabric can affect how it takes the dye.

- Human error! While we work really hard to try and maintain consistency between batches of our hand-dyed items, we can't always get the exact same result. But that's just the uniqueness of our Dust Dyes!

If you would like to get matching hand-dyed items, please don't hesitate to send us an email! We can make sure your order all comes from the same batch.

 

I just bought something at full price and now it's on sale.  Can I get a partial refund?

Nope!  Sorry!
